I personally think it beats the more popular hud and hunger mods by BlockMen feature-wise, since a mode to imitate -style statbars is present. ) So I do think this mod fills quite a need. Without this mod, we would probably have HUD indicators all over the screen. This has been a relative success and a couple of mods are using it to add their own HUD bars. IMO this mod is so important, I sometimes think it should be part of builtin (internal core Minetest “mod”) This is easily the most frequenty-used mod by me. Very important tool for modders to debug stuff, I almost always enable it when testing mods. luacmd: Allows to use Lua commands in-game. Not sure if those are the “best” mods (it is hard to decide). I just give a random list of 5 mods which I personally like much (and yes, I do like my own mods, too! :P). It's set up this to be able to produce more content and create a sort of series. I set it up this way so I could do a basic TOP 5 (This one) then next would be TOP 5 server mods and so on. The reason I went so bland as I want to do more TOP 5 Videos on Mods. Just simply what players believe are the TOP 5 mods. IMO it does not make much sense to ask for the top 5 mods without any further explanation. This doesn't seem right.Īnd even for the gameplay mods, voting for the “best” is still a bit vague.Īsk for something more specific. So you are basically throwing technical and gameplay mods into the same bucket. And there are mod which add gameplay stuff directly. Popularity? Use on servers? Programming skills? Art quallity? Fun? Utility? Gameplay design? Ease of use? (Gameplay) depth? And so on …Īlso, there are many mods which are purely technical and not directly useful to players and they provide no direct gameplay value. I believe people Who do aren’t familiar enough with trackpad shortcuts and Mission Control/Spaces or simply don’t care. With shortcuts and focus modes, I can semi-automate opening / closing certain apps to organise my space and since shortcuts are share from iMac to iPad, can do it on both! it’s pretty neat! Now with Monterey I need only one safari. Next to it is my iPad Pro sitting, either in sidecar or in note taking with the pencil. Usually it goes Home Podcast/music Mail+calendar iMessage/signal Slack/reminder Main task stuff say word, Miro, Figma, MuseScore (I’m also a musician) Desktop 1 (which is mainly an access to finder, and any floating apps, say the one I know I’ll open and close in a minute Safari 1 Safari 2 Safari 3. The desktop act as a separation: allowing me to know where I am in my sorted system without having to think about it. I organise my windows as the following (and wrote a full medium post about it hahah)īackground stuff Main tasks stuff Desktop 1 Safari stuff If I do screen share at work, I share the entire screen and switch between #2 (Chrome) and #3 (Work). Nobody can see my Safari w/ personal stuff or my messaging. I don't use native full screen because I want/need quick access to the menu bar (clock, menus, apps etc.).Īlso, I found overlapping windows to be quite annoying and I can't focus on the current app.ĭoing screen share is also a reason why this works best for me. Doing so, I always have a terminal opened and ready to use and never losing it. Pressing cmd + ~ will display iTerm instantly at the top of the screen. I abandoned mouses and I am using strictly the touchpad now. In the past I was using a Logitech G700s with 4 side buttons, each for quick access to one of the desktops. And thank God for Finder (cmd+ space) - I really don't need that dock. If there are multiple instances/windows on these desktops, I just to a three fingers swipe up and click on a another window - this happens from time to time and it's much easier for to have an overview of 3 windows (of the current desktop) rather than 10-15. I have disabled notifications to avoid distractions.Īs I keep my dock hidden (for both screen estate but also avoiding distractions), it's much easier for me to switch between desktops rather than go to the bottom of the screen, wait for the dock to appear and click on an icon. I switch to #1 whenever I need to contact somebody or from time to time to check if there's anything new. and to #4 if I need to access something personal like social media or anything else. While I spend most of the time on #3, I often switch to #2 for testing, researching etc. I have 4 desktops all the time, each with its own reason: 1 for messaging - iMessage and Slack each at 25% of the screen and the email client with 50% of the screen 2 for Chrome w/ work stuff - maximized but not full screen 3 for IDE(s) - usually one but may be up to 4-5 instances at the same time 4 for Safari w/ personal stuff - same as Chrome It’s crazy how much faster it makes my audio editing stuff. Now, I fly around in Logic like I do everything else. I open the Piano roll and track view on a separate desktops on one monitor and then I open the mixer and audio editor on separate desktops on the other monitor. I don’t own a Windows machine anymore.Įdit: also, I recently started using multiple desktops on both my MacBook monitor and the connected monitor for Logic Pro. I actually thanked him when it was all said and done. He said “you’re gonna think I’m being an ass hole but once you really learn how use this thing how it’s supposed to be used and you’re flying around getting things done 4 times as fast, you’ll thank me.” My boss bought me a Mac and made me learn MacOS and gestures. It feels like when when Tom Cruise was using all that future computer tech in Minority Report or something lol If I’m working between three or four apps, I’ll full screen all of them on their own desktop and 4 finger swipe between then to copy/paste and manage data on each one. With trackpad gestures, multiple desktops are easier than opening apps or switching windows. Yet Symbolist ideas also played an important role for leading personalities of the avant-garde, including Gustav Klimt, Egon Schiele, and Koloman Moser. In Austria, Rudolf Jettmar, Alfred Kubin, and Karl Mediz turned out to be among the most consistent exponents of Symbolism. This new aestheticism, propagated by such artists as Max Klinger, Franz von Stuck, Fernand Khnopff, and Jan Toorop, was transmitted in Austria and Central Europe first and foremost via the Vienna Secession. Its abandonment of banal reality led some artists to create idylls, while others invented cosmic visions. The Symbolist movement superseded the official style of Historicist painting, shifting its focus to the subjective perspective of psychological processes, which found expression in a suggestive language of colour and form. As a first step, the exhibition is meant to present a general overview of the development and the various positions of the Symbolist approach in Austria and Central Europe.Īs early as the 1870s, Symbolism started to evolve from the spirit of décadence, which discovered for itself the cryptic aestheticism of decay and of the mystical and unfathomable. The show is an in-depth exploration of this significant movement in Austrian art which began around 1900 and has hitherto almost exclusively been addressed in partial explorations. This summer, the Belvedere presents the first major exhibition to highlight the multifaceted genre of Austrian Symbolism, in a large-scale exhibition. “The update deleted all my saved games so I am having to start from scratch. We flew from Kansas City with a short lay over in Atlanta, before heading into Cozumel in the early afternoon. You can learn more about what the resort offers here.ĭay one of the trip started out with an early morning flight. The resort also allowed you to rent items needed for water activities, such as snorkeling or kayaking. Secrets Aura had three main pools (with a fourth for folks belonging to their membership club) a great variety of restaurants, and plenty of activities going on throughout the day and evening. We only needed to share our room number when checking in for meals or borrowing equipment. In other resort we stayed at, we wore wristbands to denote to resort employees that we were staying there and had all inclusive rights. Something unique about the Secrets resort is that you do not have to wear wristbands. It was very nice-and had lots of activities for kids. We explored the other side of the resort a bit but never really spend any time there. We had access to it’s beach, pools, and restaurants as well, but their guests did not have privileges to Secrets. The resort is adults only and all inclusive-in our book that’s the only way to do it! Next to Secrets was it’s sister resort- Sunscape Sabor. The resort is located on the Southwest side of Cozumel island, and highly accessible to many reefs. We scored a great deal for a six day, five night stay at Secrets Aura Resort. Travel tip #1: June is a slower time of year for traveling to Mexico, so that helped with finding a nice resort for a fair price. Ruth and my Father-in-law, Stanley, gifted us with part of our trip for Christmas and we were even luckier that they watched the kids while we were gone. We booked our trip through Apple Vacations. We were blessed that Ryan’s Mom, Ruth, is a travel agent, and helped us find the best options. I hope you enjoy and find both posts helpful! In the next few days, I’ll post Part 2 where I share more about items I packed for the trip. You are reading Part 1 which talks about the trip, resort details and experiences. Because there is so much to share, I wrote two posts regarding the trip. From where we stayed to what I wore, we learned and have recommendations for others who are traveling to Mexico or somewhere else out of the country on a beach vacation. We loved our trip to Cozumel and I want to share our experiences in hopes that someone else can utilize this information. The main goal of the trip was to find time to slow down, relax, rejuvenate and reconnect as a couple. When deciding where to travel for our anniversary, it seemed like a no-brainer to go back. We honeymooned in Cozumel right after our wedding, and we still have fond memories of that trip. In honor of the momentous occasion, we planned a trip to Cozumel, Mexico. 10!?! I’m not even sure how it could be that many years, but it also feels like we have been together forever. On June 7, my husband, Ryan, and I celebrated 10 years of marriage. With Charles' encouragement, he proposes to Alicia and they marry. On a return visit to Princeton, Nash runs into Charles and his niece, Marcee. One of his students, Alicia Larde, asks him to dinner, and they fall in love. Nash becomes increasingly obsessive in his search for these patterns, delivering his results to a secret mailbox, and comes to believe he is being followed. Bored with his regular duties at MIT, including teaching, he is recruited by the mysterious William Parcher of the United States Department of Defense with a classified assignment: to look for hidden patterns in magazines and newspapers to thwart a Soviet plot. In 1953, Nash is invited to the Pentagon to study encrypted enemy telecommunications, which he deciphers mentally. Publishing an article on his theory, he earns an appointment at MIT where he chooses Sol and Bender over Hansen to join him. Hansen quotes Adam Smith advocating "every man for himself", but Nash argues that a cooperative approach would lead to better chances of success developing a new concept of governing dynamics. He meets fellow math and science graduate students Sol, Ainsley, and Bender, as well as his roommate Charles Herman, a literature student.ĭetermined to publish his own original idea, Nash is inspired when he and his classmates discuss how to approach a group of women at a bar. In 1947, John Nash arrives at Princeton University as co-recipient, with Martin Hansen, of the Carnegie Scholarship for mathematics. It was also nominated for Best Actor, Best Film Editing, Best Makeup, and Best Original Score. It went on to gross over $313 million worldwide and won four Academy Awards, for Best Picture, Best Director, Best Adapted Screenplay and Best Supporting Actress for Connelly. Early in the film, Nash begins to develop paranoid schizophrenia and endures delusional episodes while watching the burden his condition brings on his wife Alicia and friends.Ī Beautiful Mind was released theatrically in the United States on December 21, 2001. The story begins in Nash's days as a graduate student at Princeton University. A Beautiful Mind stars Russell Crowe as Nash, along with Ed Harris, Jennifer Connelly, Paul Bettany, Adam Goldberg, Judd Hirsch, Josh Lucas, Anthony Rapp, and Christopher Plummer in supporting roles. Written by Akiva Goldsman, its screenplay was inspired by Sylvia Nasar's 1998 biography of the mathematician John Nash, a Nobel Laureate in Economics.
